As the 2019/20 rugby season moves closer, the Reds are offering a chance to join the players and coaching staff on one of the best away weekends of the year.
We are looking to repeat the popular 36-hour tour to Cornwall for the game against Cornish Pirates. This is scheduled over the Easter weekend - Saturday/Sunday April 11th/12th - and we're seeking expressions of interest from supporters in taking a seat on the 'Air Reds' team flight to Newquay.
Due to the range of locations and prices for accommodation, we don’t intend to offer a full package including a designated hotel. Those coming on the trip will need to arrange their own hotel for one night. There will be coach transport arranged after the games for the journey from the ground to Airport, and depending on numbers and demand, we’ll also look at arranging transport from the airport to selected destinations on arrival. There may be a modest charge to cover these transfers.
Full details of the proposed trip (with approximate timings as a guide) are as follows:
Sat Apr 11th
10am: flight departs Jersey
11am: land at Newquay Airport
afternoon/evening: at leisure. We hope it may be possible to repeat the very enjoyable trip to Skinner’s Brewery in Truro.
Sun Apr 12th
2.00pm: kick-off for Cornish Pirates v Jersey Reds, Mennaye Field
5.45pm: leave Mennaye Field
6.45pm: arrive Newquay Airport
7.45pm: flight departs Newquay Airport
8.45pm: land in Jersey
The cost of the return flight to Newquay will be £236 per person.

If sufficient people respond to make the trip viable, a deposit of £100 will be required by Friday August 16th, with the balance due by Monday September 30th.
This would be the second charter of the season, after the flight arranged to Newcastle on November 1st/2nd for the game against the Falcons. That trip is now fully subscribed, however anyone who wishes to be placed on a wait-list should email Kate.
