Jersey Reds have brought in hooker Beck Cutting on a short-term loan from Gallagher Premiership club Worcester Warriors.
The 21-year-old former England under 20 international has made the move after injuries left the Reds short of cover at hooker.
With both Nic Dolly and Jack Macfarlane currently injured, Cutting is in contention to make his debut in Saturday's Greene King IPA Championship match away to Doncaster Knights.
Cutting has been at Worcester since 2017 and has made four 1st XV appearances so far this season. He has also played on loan for Hartpury University, appearing twice in matches against Jersey over the past two seasons.
After the Doncaster game, the Reds travel to Ealing for a Championship Cup quarter-final on Saturday February 22nd, before their next home match - the considerable challenge of taking on league leaders Newcastle Falcons. The match at Stade Santander International on Saturday February 29th will kick off at 3pm.
