Bedford Blues have announced the signing of Jersey's Michael
Le Bourgeois for the 2013/14 season. As announced last week, Le
Bourgeois (below) had yet to agree terms to remain as a contracted
player for Jersey beyond the current campaign, and has now opted to
join Bedford.
Director of Rugby Ben Harvey said: "Mikey has played a
significant role in Jersey's rise up the leagues since making his
debut as a teenager. Moving to the mainland and joining Bedford may
be a good move for him at this stage of his career, and I would
like to wish him all the best for the future."

Another Jersey player from the 2012/13 season has confirmed his
future plans. Charlie Walker-Blair, who arrived at St Peter on a
short-term deal in February and made five league appearance for the
