Jersey battled the wind and rain as well as a dogged Rotherham Titans side to claim a bonus point win at Clifton Lane - the first time that the Reds have prevailed away from home against the hosts.
Playing with the wind advantage in the first half, Jersey scored two early tries through Adair and Otto and added a third by Howe before the break to lead 6 - 22 at half time.
The bonus point try was scored by captain Alex Rae off the back of a driving maul, but perhaps more impressive was the way that Jersey took the defence to the Titans in the second period and denied them anything.
