Jersey shared the spoils in a physical encounter away at Clifton
Lane in a physical game that saw both sides pick up two yellow
cards.
Jersey were first on the scoresheet through a Penberthy penalty
before Rotherham scored a converted try to lead 7-3 at half time,
having controlled much of the play.
Jersey scored first after the break to take the lead, but that
was soon cancelled out (10-10). Jersey then scored a second
converted try to lead 17-10 before Rotherham fought back with a
drop goal and then a converted try to regain the lead. It was then
left to Penberthy level the scores again with a late penalty
strike.
