Jersey Reds have signed hooker Reece Marshall from Northampton Saints ahead of this weekend's Championship Cup tie against Ealing Trailfinders.
The 24-year-old comes in as the Jersey squad remains suffering from injuries, notably in the middle of the front row. Nic Dolly and Jack Macfarlane are both injured, while loan signing Beck Cutting is ineligible for this weekend's cup tie having appeared for another club, Hartpury University, during the pool stage.
Marshall, who comes straight into the starting line-up for tomorrow's match, is an experienced operator who has been with the Saints since 2013 having played his first rugby with his local club Dunstablians. He has made 40 first team appearances for the Saints and has also represented England at under 16 and under 18 levels.
