Jersey Reds followed up recent away wins at Bedford and Bristol with another excellent display, this time sweeping aside London Scottish on their home patch.
Although Mark Best's early try was soon cancelled out by a Ross Neal intercept, the visitors were the dominant force in the first half and tries for Scott Van Breda and Max Argyle made it 7-19 at the break.
Jason Worrall collected Best's cross-kick to bring up the bonus point score within 60 seconds of the restart, and then Apakuki Ma'afu collected another kick, this time by Kieran Hardy, to score.
In spite of a brief wobble when Danny Kenny and Craig Holland claimed tries that reduced the margin to 7-31, the Reds finished strongly, with three tries in the last 12 minutes; first replacement Roy Godfrey barged over and then Worrall completed a hat-trick courtesy of a Van Breda scoring pass and then another well-judged Best kick. Brendan Cope landed six conversions from eight attempts.
The Reds will look to maintain their recent good form in the next fortnight with back-to-back home games: firstly they'll entertain Rotherham Titans on Saturday March 24th and then it's a B&I quarter-final against Doncaster Knights on Good Friday (March 30th).
