Jersey Reds came within an inch of seizing a last-gasp win at Lady Bay, when an equalising try was followed by a conversion attempt by Brendan Cope which hit the post to leave the side locked together and gaining two league points apiece.
Replaceemnt hooker Nick Selway finished the maul, as he had an identical score at the end of the first half, with the Reds' other try coming straight from the kick-off with a brilliant kick-and-chase by Auguy Slowik.
The visitors were 10-14 ahead at the break but three Tiff Eden penalties in the final quarter got his side in front.
