Jersey Reds will play their second and final pre-season match when they travel to the Mennaye Field to take on old rivals Cornish Pirates, with the match kicking off at 2pm on Saturday.
Director of Rugby Harvey Biljon has selected a squad of 25 for the match, with players seeking to secure their spots for the starting XV, and replacements, when the Greene King IPA Championship starts next month.
Unusually in terms of pre-season selection, Biljon has named the same starting line-up which began the game at Coventry two weeks ago in a game that the Reds eventually lost 34-33.
Sean O'Connor will once again captain the side from the second row, while the 10-man replacements bench includes two potential debutants in prop Ollie Dawe and centre Jack Roberts.
The Pirates were the Reds' first-ever opponents at Championship level when Jersey reached the second tier in 2012 and the two clubs have since met on 19 occasions in league and cup encounters, with the Channel Islanders narrowly ahead by 10 wins to nine.
Saturday's match will be refereed by Tom Foley, assisted by Nick Marshall and Kevin Williams.
The Reds will travel to Cornwall Airport Newquay by charter flight with the club's Official Airline Partner Blue Islands. Members of the travelling party have been subject to strict Covid-19 protocols - this has included two tests during the days leading up to the game and three further tests following their return to Jersey.

The Reds will have a bye week when the Championship kicks off on the weekend of March 6th/7th and will then begin their campaign away to Saracens on Saturday January 13th (k-o 1.30pm). Remaining kick-off times for the season are expected to be confirmed on Monday March 1st, along with details regarding how matches will be broadcast.
