/*STOP PRESS*/ Jersey Reds have amended their squad for the game against Nottingham tonight (kick-off 7.45pm) on Good Friday, with loosehead prop Roy Godfrey withdrawing from the trip as he awaits the imminent birth of his first child.
Harry Morley steps into the starting XV, with his place on the bench being taken by Sam Rodman.
Jersey Reds make their final away trip of the season when they travel to Nottingham on Good Friday.
The Reds are anxious to show what they are capable of in seeking to banish the memory of a below-par display last Saturday, when they were soundly beaten 14-45 by Ealing Trailfinders. The defeat helped Bedford Blues go above Harvey Biljon's side in the battle to finish third in this season's Greene King IPA Championship table.
Jersey's Director of Rugby has brought six new faces into his starting XV and made further positional switches in a bid to find the right formula to tackle Nottingham, who currently lie seventh but will be targeting a strong finish to the season and a return to the top six.
There are changes throughout the Reds' side, including in each row of the pack: Nick Selway in for Jack Macfarlane at hooker, Rory Bartle replacing Dave McKern in the second row and Jake Upfield coming in as flanker, with Kyle Hatherell moving to number 8 and Janco Venter dropping to the bench.
Changes at half-back see Will Homer take over from Liam Howley at scrum-half, while Harlequins-bound Brett Herron moves inside from full-back to fly-half in place of Aaron Penberthy. Leroy Van Dam moves sideways to take Herron's place, with James Newey introduced on the wing, while the final change is in midfield, where George Eastwell will partner Apakuki Ma'afu as Mark Best makes way.
Zei Alexis comes in as a front row option on the bench alongside Macfarlane and Harry Morley, with further impact among the forwards offered by Venter and Charlie Beckett. Howley and Jack Stapley provide alternatives for the back line.
When the two sides met in Jersey earlier this season in the first match after the Christmas and New Year break, the Reds scored five converted tries and eventually won 41-16. The most recent visit to Lady Bay finished 19-all in December 2017, the only draw in 13 matches between the clubs to date, with Jersey having eight wins to their opponents' four.
The Greene King IPA Championship will conclude on the last weekend of April, when Coventry visit Stade Santander International. A large contingent of visiting supporters is expected, and the two clubs will also contest a 2nd XV fixture (k-o 12noon) in the build-up to the league clash (3pm). Advance tickets are available HERE
