Jersey Reds seek a Head of Analysis to measure and analyse KPIs of Reds players and opposition trends, as well as monitoring the progression to support both players and coaches to optimise on-field performance.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Filming of Training – Post Session Coding and Creation of Stacked Training Packages
Filming or Live Coding of matches
Post-match individual coding supplemented with individual stat reports - helping provide detailed feedback for coaches and players
Establish a seasonal database to monitor technical and tactical KPI’s for players/team throughout the season for trend analysis purposes
Creation and delivery of opposition trend analysis
Assisting in the creation and adaption of relevant statistical outputs and Presentations
Uploading of Training and Reviews to online platform, as well as logging usage reports within the app
Recruiting and managing analysis interns
All Role holders must maintain an appropriate standard of Confidentiality

Qualifications and experience:
Essential:
- BSc in a Sports Science/Performance Analysis related degree
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software, such as Hudl Sportscode
- Ability to interpret data & create impactful presentations & written reports that provide clear, concise, and professional feedback
- Knowledge and understanding of rugby union
- Open-mindedness to additional Roles & Responsibilities to what is listed under the General Responsibility section
Desirable:
- Have acquired a MSc in Performance Analysis
- Experience flying a drone
- Extensive experience of working within a high performance, professional sporting environment
- Experience with player monitoring & Data Intelligence software
- Scripting Experience within Hudl Sportscode software for efficient use of Output Windows
- Use of Data Visualisation Tools such as Tableau
- Experience of efficient Workload management techniques
