Penberthy returns to The Mennaye to face former
club
Finally making the long anticipated comeback from injury, Jersey
fly-half Aaron Penberthy is given the nod over Niall O'Connor and
will be joined by a sizeable contingent of former Pirates returning
to face their old club in Sunday's Greene King IPA Championship
clash with the Cornish Pirates. (KO 3pm).
Jersey, 11th in the Championship table, will be seeking to
extend the points buffer between themselves and bottom place Ealing
and make it a league double over the men from Cornwall in the
fourth and final encounter of the season between the two clubs. The
game will no doubt be given an extra dimension of intrigue as
Harvey Biljon returns as an adversary to The Mennaye.
Nick Selway is handed his first league start of the season in
place of injured Dave Young, with Sam Lockwood partnering him in
the front row in favour of Sean McCarthy. The rest of the starting
line-up remains unchanged from the postponed Plymouth game two
weeks ago. The Jersey faithful will once again welcome the presence
of evergreen prop Jon Brennan on the replacements' bench.
