Jersey win a tight encounter by 3 tries to 2 away from home.
Leading by 0-15 at half time including tries by Tom Howe and Pierce Phillips, things were looking positive for the Reds.
As is so often the case though at this level, the pendulum then swung the other way. Notts scored a try from a driving lineout and then notched a penalty as everything seemd to be going the way of the Green and Whites.
Jersey launched their first real meaningful attack of the half and when in sight of the hosts' line a wild pass by Nick Campbell was intercepted. An 80 yard return resulted in Nottingham's second try to level the scores, but the conversion hit the upright.
Jersey regrouped and got the decisive score with a penalty try within the closing minutes of the encounter, and then held on for a great win to swap places with their hosts and move back up to 5th place in the table.
