Jersey Reds are pleased to confirm that Condor Ferries will be the club’s newest platinum sponsor.
Condor Ferries, which provides services between the Channel Islands, England and France, will be an official partner of the Reds for the next three seasons, lasting until summer 2025. As part of the agreement, a Condor Ferries logo will feature on the Reds’ shorts for all 1st XV games from August 2022.
The new partnership comes as the Reds are about to start their second decade playing in the RFU Championship, the second tier of the English rugby pyramid. Promotion to the Championship in 2012 was the most recent in a series of promotions for the Reds, who were ranked fourth in the 2021/22 season, equalling their highest finish at this level.
Mark Morgan, Chairman of Jersey Reds, said: “We’re thrilled to have agreed to have Condor joining our sponsors for the next three years – they are a local company who in discussions with us have shown that they recognise what a leading sports organisation like the Reds bring to the profile of the Island.
John Napton, Chief Executive of Condor Ferries, said: “We are really pleased to be working with the Reds and flying the flag for Jersey over the next three years.
"A number of the clubs in The Championship are situated within two or three hours’ drive of Poole or Portsmouth, so we see the link-up as a great opportunity to promote the Island and in doing so, bring visitors over and support our local tourism economy.”
