As some of you may have seen, some bought one,
and many talked about it, there is a new shirt design on
sale in the club shop.
This has generated a lot of dialogue on our Facebook page, both
positive and negative, and its possibly time to set the record
straight.
The strip was designed by our main shirt suppliers as a bit of
fun, as a limited edition that may be worn in a one-off game before
the end of the season, but there is no suggestion that this will be
the shirt to be worn by the club next term at whichever level
we find ourselves competing at.
Incidentally, sales of the 'new' shirt have gone much
better than expected and have been out-selling the current 1st
XV design by over 4:1!
