As we continue our build up for the biggest pre-season fixture
on the calendar, the whole Leicester Tigers squad will be at the
Weighbridge, St. Helier (in front of the Royal Yacht) on Friday
23rd August to not just promote the meteoric clash between Jersey
and the Aviva Premiership Champions, but also to greet the next
generation of Island rugby stars.
The whole Tigers squad, including six British and Irish Lions
and various England internationals, will be present to meet the
public from 1pm onwards so get there early to not miss out.
The fixture between the two clubs, a day later (Saturday 24
August KO 3pm), will be Jersey's first pre-season fixture and the
first chance to see the new players in action ahead of the most
exciting season yet.
Tickets are selling fast, but can be bought from the Club Shop
at St. Peter (10am - 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays).
Tickets are also available from The Jersey Evening Post offices at
Five Oaks 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday and Red Properties on the
Esplanade, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Adult tickets cost £15 each for everyone, whilst Under 17s will
be admitted free of charge (proof of age may be required).
