In a thoroughly entertaining, high scoring game, Jersey did well to come away with a try scoring bonus point.
The Reds lead after 3 minutes with a try by new signing Guy Armitage who finished well after Sami Fisilau had broken from deep.
The Reds could have counted themselves slightly unlucky to go in at half time a try behind having battled hard to level the scores at 10-10, but ultimately with a man down the Irish scored 2 catch and drive tries.
The second half was a different affair. The Irish came flying out of the blocks and two quick tries stamped their authority on the fixture.
The Reds stuck to their task and finally got their 4th BP try with just under 10 minutes left.
