Jersey Rugby Football Club
are pleased to announce and officially launch their brand new
post-match attire for this season, provided as part of a new
sponsorship deal with Ashworth and Bird; a leading independent
designer retailer in Jersey.
Each player has had a
bespoke made to measure navy jacket, white shirt and grey trouser
crafted to their exact measurements by experienced tailors in-store
at A&B Menswear at de Gruchy. This is the first time the Jersey
team have had a personalised made to measure outfit as part of
their non-playing clothing as the Club again take another step
forward in professionalism to reflect their emerging
brand.
Commenting on the new
post-match attire, JRFC first team captain Alex Rae said: "It's
great to get kitted out in such quality bespoke attire and helps
the lads have an even greater sense of professionalism. It reflects
well on the Club, especially at away matches and plays a smaller
role in our great team spirit at St Peter this season.
"It matters how we are
perceived by supporters, sponsors and the general public wherever
we go, and standards on and off the field really do count. We are
proud to be ambassadors for the Island wearing Ashworth and Bird's
Made to Measure garments."
Rae added, "As players we certainly come in all different shapes
and sizes therefore the Made to Measure clothing was a pleasant
surprise and something you don't always experience at every
professional club, helping make Jersey that extra bit special and
unique."
A&B Menswear at de
Gruchy is holding an in store Made to Measure event on Thursday 7th
November 2013 for Jersey shoppers to see first-hand the service
available on Island. Players from the JRFC 1st XV will be in store
on the evening and special offers will be running throughout the
promotion from Thursday 8th and Friday 9th November with fittings
and appointments available for those men wishing to replicate a
similar personalised style.
