Jersey Rugby Football Club Director of Rugby, Ben Harvey has
made four changes to his starting line-up ahead of this weekend's
trip to Meadow Lane for the clash with Nottingham Rugby.
The Islanders' first
regulatory away visit of the season pitches them against Martin
Haag's Green and Whites this Sunday afternoon (Kick Off 15:00) as
Jersey target an early win on the road in the Greene King IPA
Championship.
Following narrow defeat to
the Champions elect; Bristol last time out, Harvey's troops are
raring to go with only one change to a strong forward pack as Ben
Maidment replaces James Voss. Islander Voss suffered a worrying
injury last weekend having started to game brightly and shown great
promise, but he has worked hard to recover from the neck problem
and takes a deserved spot on the bench.
Whilst in the backline;
Nicky Griffiths is preferred at scrum-half, Drew Locke returns to
full fitness in the centre and Tom Cooper gets the nod on the wing
as Harvey continues to tinker with his side.
Top try scorer Ed Dawson has
been ruled out with a muscle strain having impressed in all three
GKIPA Championship matches this season, but is hoped to be back in
contention in the coming weeks.
