Four tries and a bonus point with it on the surface looks good, but agonisingly the Reds miss out on a losing bonus point by a solitary point against a disciplined and powerful Ealing side.
Trailing by three tries to one at half time, Jersey had it all to do in the second half. The Reds scored first after the break before the visitors stretched their lead with two penalties and a fourthth try to leave the hosts with plenty to do.
Just as it looked as though the game could have been slipping away, Jersey powered forward and notched two more tries after the hour, one a classic catch-and-drive and the second the try of the game. It started from deep as Worrall charged into the Ealing half. The ball was recycled quickly and passed out. Pincus then made ground before an off-load to Sexton on the wing who came so close before being hauled down, but he still got the pass away inside back to Pincus to score.
Jersey plugged away as the clock ticked to 80 mins but ultimately couldn't get into a scoring position, and that was how it ended.
