A pulsating game of rugby, played with pace and passion by both sides.
It was stalemate for the first 12 minutes, until Bristol opted for the posts to convert a penalty and open their account.
Bristol then took full advantage of the extra man following a Pitman yellow card, to score their first try.
Bristol then went through the gears and added 3 more quick tries to extend their lead before Jersey got one back on the stroke of half time with a well taken catch by Pincus from a high cross-field kick.
Having turned around at 5-29, the Reds needed to take advantage of the tail wind, and this they did.
Two home tries followed during a purple patch, and with a vociferous crowd behind them Jersey started to believe, but a 5th score by the visitors ended any hope.
