A good afternoon for the Reds who outscored their visitors by 7seven tries to one.
With five new faces in the starting line-up and six more entering the fray in the second period, there was plenty of new talent on show as well as the 'tried and tested' from last season.
The defence was tested on many occasions by a tenacious Coventry side who never gave up, and with the ball in hand the Reds looked lively going forward, so plenty for the coaching staff to be happy about.
