A fine win by the Reds, their first under lights, and a bonus point to make it all the more festive.
Two early Aaron Penberthy penalties settled the nerves, and whilst Jersey domintated territory, it was Ealing who were to register the first try from a catch and drive off a lineout.
Jersey scored a penalty try just before half time when a drive was illegally pulled down, and turned around at the break leading by 16-7.
Throughout the second half the home side gradually kept increasing the pressure, playing the game in the right areas and slowly but surely the scores came. Two from lineouts as Lockwood and Kolo'ofa'i crossed, and then the BP try finished off by Cope after about 10 phases that started with a lineout in the Bowl corner.
A very happy coach, and a very happy home crowd.
