Having led 10-5 at half time, the home faithful were rightfully
upbeat and full of hope for a 2nd successive Championship victory,
but alas that was not to be.
A couple of Rotherham tries from the back of scrums and one full
length of the pitch effort when Jersey had been pressing for a try
of their own were the undoing.
Jersey scored 3 tries of their own in the second period, and the
catch and drive was a potent force against a big Rotherham pack,
but unfortunately one last effort in the dieing minutes did not
yield the score that we were looking for.
