Jersey secured what was unquestionably the biggest win of their
time in the Championship.
In a game that ebbed and flowed both ways, and that was
ultimately very even throughout, Jersey fought back for an
unlikely win that also dented Worcester's season, and
ended a 24 game unbeaten run.
Jersey scored a try in each half. The first was a fantastic
solo effort by new signing Fautua Otto, who took the ball on
halfway, chipped over an advancing defence and then gathered to
touch down. The second was a more conventional catch-and-drive
effort, finished by Hodson with 15 minutes to play.
And then there was Penberthy's drop goal - a monster effort from
wide out on the right, and nearly on the Worcester 10m line that
clinched the lead and ultimately the win.
