A game that was billed to be a tight affair ultimately ended up all square at 22 each.
You could say that the wind was the winner, as it certainly played its part and definitely disrupted lineout play.
Doncaster went in at half time leading by 5-22 having out-scored the hosts by 3 tries to 1 (Tom Howe claimed Jersey's). The hosts were to bounce back with their second try (ross Adair) straight from the restart after half-time and then proceeded to dominate the second half with the wind on their backs.
Another converted try from Nick Haining and then a Cope penalty levelled it.
Cope had a chance to win with the last kick of the game, but it drifted wide of the right-hand upright.
