Jersey RFC continue to wait anxiously for updates regarding our injured prop James Ellershaw, who is recovering in hospital in England after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident.
The accident happened on Saturday 1st October, leaving James with multiple injuries. He is now in the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Jersey Chairman Bill Dempsey said, "Everyone at Jersey RFC has been shocked and saddened by the news about James, and our thoughts are with him and his family. We are anxiously awaiting more news on his progress, and hoping that the next bulletins are positive ones - we wish James a swift and full recovery".
Bill added, "We are in touch with James's family and have sent the best wishes of the whole club. It is hoped that some members of the 1st team squad will be able to visit James when we are next over in England for an away match on the weekend of October 15th and 16th - we are just looking to finalise arrangements for this".
