The Islanders have made only
three changes to their starting line-up for this weekend's clash
with London Scottish at the Athletic Ground in the GKIPA
Championship (Kick Off 14:00 on Sunday).
Ben Harvey's Jersey will be
looking to re-find the form that brought them early league wins
over Bedford Blues and Nottingham having come so close to then
second placed Rotherham Titans last time out.
Harvey makes two changes in
the backs with Jimmy Williams getting another chance in the nine
jersey as Nicky Griffiths drops to the bench with competition very
strong at half-back. Mark Foster comes in on the wing as Mark
McCrea again starts at inside-centre having impressed at Clifton
Lane last Saturday. Drew Locke recovers from his knock against
Titans to take his place on the substitutes bench.
There is one notable change
in the pack as Dave Markham is selected for his first league start
of the season. The front and back row remain unchanged having
impressed several times already this season, whilst skipper Alex
Rae is an ever-consistent in the boilerhouse.
Jersey field another strong
replacements bench with the familiar face of Jon Brennan making the
trip alongside fellow front-row forwards Tom Fidler and Nick
Selway, the latter also covering at hooker with Luke Stratford
carrying an injury. Islander' James Voss again makes the 22 to
cover at second-row and back-row, whilst Latu Makaafi returns from
his broken jaw to immediately make the match-day squad as Harvey
names a five; two split.
