Jersey RFC have confirmed the departure of Forwards Coach Steve Boden at the end of the current season.
Boden, 33, who has been with Jersey for the past four seasons, will be released from the final year of his current contract and is set to take up a coaching role at one of his former clubs, Yorkshire Carnegie.
"We are disappointed to be losing someone who has played an important role for JRFC in recent seasons, but Steve has had an opportunity to head back to Yorkshire and we have agreed to his release," said Jersey Chairman Bill Dempsey.
Dempsey said that the club was hoping to appoint a replacement for Boden in the coming weeks.
"Although there's some important rugby still to be played this season, it's less than two months before the players are due to gather for pre-season, so we want to have a new Forwards Coach in place as soon as possible," Dempsey added.
