After successful trips for away games in recent season, the Reds are once again looking at charter flights for the players, coaches and supporters to travel to away matches in 2018/19.
The intention is to repeat the popular 36-hour tour to Cornwall for the game against Cornish Pirates in March. There was also a possibility of a charter to the Coventry game on September 1st however it wasn't possible to get that one off the ground at short notice.
Due to the range of locations and prices across the many options for accommodation, we don't intend to offer a full package including a designated hotel. Those coming on the trip will need to arrange their own hotel. There will be coach transport arranged after the games for the journey from the ground to Airport, and depending on numbers and demand, we'll also look at arranging transport from the airport to selected destinations on arrival. There'll be a modest charge to cover these transfers.

Cornwall - March 9th/10th 2019
Sat Mar 9th
10am: flight departs Jersey
11am: land at Newquay Airport
afternoon/evening: at leisure. We hope it may be possible to repeat the very enjoyable trip to Skinner's Brewery in Truro. There are also 6 Nations games to watch on TV: Scotland v Wales and England v Italy
Sun Mar 10th
2.30pm: kick-off for Cornish Pirates v Jersey Reds, Mennaye Field
6pm: leave Mennaye Field
7pm: arrive Newquay Airport
8pm: flight departs Newquay Airport
9pm: land in Jersey
The cost of the return flight will be £250 per person. If sufficient people respond to make the trip viable then a deposit of £150 will be required by 24 July.
