Winning cocktail of big-screen international rugby, live
local action, food and drink at JRFC
The first weekend of February sees the start of the RBS 6
Nations, and supporters will be able to see the key matches from
the opening weekend at Jersey RFC.
On Saturday February 2nd, Wales play Ireland at 1.30pm, followed
at 4pm by England against Scotland. Both games will be live on the
big screens in the clubhouse.
The bar will be open and the club will also be offering hot food
for those in need of a bite to eat - home-made lasagne, chips and
salad for £6 (no advance booking required).
Weather permitting, there should be some live action outside on
the pitches at St Peter, with Wanderers playing Beeches at 11am and
Jersey Athletic taking on Banks at 11.30am. Banks Ladies will also
be in the house, as they are entertaining league opponents
Teddington at JRFC after their 1pm kick-off at Les Quennevais
(switch of venue from Grainville).
See you at the club this Saturday afternoon, and watch out for
more details about the remaining matches in this year's 6
Nations.
