Away Supporters' club...
Hello Bill,
Just a brief note to say
thank you to you and the rest of your colleagues and the fans of
Jersey Rugby Club for the wonderful hospitality last weekend. In
fact we could include the whole of Jersey as I have heard nothing
but praise from Leicester fans about the warmth and friendliness of
the Jersey people, shop assistants, restaurant staff, taxi and bus
drivers and of course bar staff, we had a marvellous time.
The game was a good
spectacle and I am sure was of value to the coaches of both
teams.
It is certain that Tigers
fans who attended the match will eagerly be looking for Jersey's
results in the Championship because we have all adopted you as our
team, second only to Tigers. Many have said (including myself) that
we would like to play you as an annual fixture, some have said that
if this cannot be arranged they will find out who you are playing
and come anyway.
Thank you once again for all
you did to help me and Leicester Tigers Away Supporters Club to
have great stay on the island, you can be sure that many of us will
be back soon to explore the lovely coast and countryside more fully
and hopefully take in another Rugby match.
