Jersey Rugby Club is offering free admission to the pre-season
game with Loughborough Students at St Peter this weekend.
The game, which kicks off at 3pm this Saturday (August 25th),
will be the final chance for the Islanders to tune up their
game-plan before making their RFU Championship bow a week later
against Cornish Pirates.
JRFC will also be hosting a buffet lunch in the clubhouse prior
to the game, starting at 1pm. All supporters are welcome, at a
price of £10 per person and no pre-booking is required.
Jersey met the Students twice in 2011, with another August
pre-season friendly following the National Two Play-Off match in
May, which Jersey won by 30-5. Loughborough have since achieved
promotion themselves, and will start their season in SSE National
One when they host Blackheath on September 1st.
Supporters also have the chance to buy tickets for the league
opener against Cornish Pirates - see the 'match tickets' tab for
full details.
