Jersey set sail for vital games against Exiles and
Albion
Jersey have two vital away-days coming, with the team looking to
gather vital points on the road in a bid to retain RFU Championship
status.
First up is London Scottish, a.k.a. the Exiles,
on Saturday March 2nd - kick-off is at the earlier time of 2pm.
This is Jersey's only match in London this season, making it one of
the most accessible games - a day-trip via London Gatwick airport
is a feasible option, or you can make a weekend of it.
The host club has recently launched its Destination London
Scottish initiative, which provides information on match tickets
(avoid the queues!) and a range of special offers for hotels as
well as various visitor attractions including golf and tours of
Twickenham Stadium. For full details click HERE.

There will also be a chance to cheer on Jersey 2nd XV, who are
playing Richmond Vikings at 12 noon - Richmond and London Scottish
share the Richmond Athletic Ground.
Although some flights leaving Jersey are filling up, there still
looks to be plenty of availability to Gatwick with Flybe and
British Airways. There was also a bargain rate with Easyjet to
London Southend airport - a Friday to Sunday return was £44 at the
time of writing.
The following weekend, Jersey will make the trip to Devon to
play Plymouth Albion - the match at Brickfields
kicks off at 3pm on Saturday March 9th.
For information regarding tickets and other match-day facilities
at Plymouth Albion, see the club's website HERE.
The following day, Sunday March 10th, is Mother's Day and PARFC
are hosting a special Mother's Day lunch to which visitors from
Jersey are warmly invited.
The carvery lunch is just £9.50 for two courses or £12.50 for
three courses, and bookings can be made by email to trish@plymouthalbion.com
The prime route for travel to Plymouth is flying with Flybe from
Exeter to Jersey, although those with more time may wish to
consider a sea passage with Condor Ferries.
