Island born superstar Henry
Cavill has become Jersey Rugby Football Club's newest member and
season ticket holder. Whilst getting to every match maybe
challenging since he is filming, Cavill is hopeful of attending St.
Peters as many times as possible this season which kicks off on
Sunday 15th September against Plymouth Albion.
The new Man of Steel who is
born and bred a Jersey bean is also a rugby fan and after watching
Jersey play Leicester Tigers in the pre-season fixture at St. Peter
a few weeks ago he has decided to nail his colours to the mast.
The team are currently
completing their final preparations before the start of their
2013/14 Greene King IPA Championship campaign which is expected to
be their most exciting yet, and now with Super powers behind them
expectation is growing.
Cavill, who is in production
for his newest film The Man from Uncle, has even pledged the
greatest showing of JRFC support by purchasing the new first team
jersey.
If like Superman you want to
wear your colours this winter and support your Island; season
tickets, membership and the new Jersey RFC home and alternative
strips are now available from the Club Shop at St. Peter (Opening
times: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 10am-1pm).
