Jersey Rugby Football Club are pleased to announce the latest
addition to their Club Shop with the new Official Supporters'
Ball sponsored by Close Finance.
Match Ball Sponsors will also now receive a signed Club ball
each fixture, whilst many will be passed into the community as JRFC
plan to develop rugby across the Island.
The Club launched the new balls at a previous home match with
Bristol as injured player Latu Makaafi and scrum-half Nicky
Griffiths paraded the pitch at half-time to throw 20 mini balls
into the crowd for young Island supporters.
Close Finance Managing Director, Adam Dawson said: "It is great
that Close Finance are able to be a part of inspiring future
generations of Jersey's rugby players, as well as developing the
awareness of rugby in the wider community, by sponsoring the new
supporters balls.
"Close Finance are proud to have such a prominent place as a
corporate sponsor of Jersey Rugby Club, and are pleased to be a
part of raising awareness of Jersey's success."
The Club have two sizes currently in stock with mini balls
retailing at £5.00 and size 5 match balls at just £10.00. Due to
the early demand the Club plan to order more of the official
supporters balls later in the season.
