Jersey held a narrow 9-5 half time lead thanks to three
Penberthy penalties to one Pirates try. The Cornish dominated
territory but failed to make more of it.
The second half was to produce the main excitement with three
tries a-piece and a Jersey comeback in the final few minutes, with
Penberthy adding the extras to Joe Buckle's try to clinch
victory.
