Bath ran out deserved winners by 10 points to 34 on a bright
afternoon at St Peter.
Jersey were first to score with a Penberthy penalty, before Henson
levelled with a conversion of his own. Bath then scored 3
unanswered tries to go in at the break leading 3-22.
Jersey continued to attack from all areas, but struggled in the
scrum where Bath showed their dominance both with their own put-in,
and against the head.
Haining scored for Jersey mid-way through the second period, and
Bath added 2 more tries of their own in what was a very
well-contested and fast-paced game.
