Bedford started off quickly and were first on to the scoresheet with a catch and drive after 10 mins that went unconverted.
Jersey had to defend solidly for much of the half and as it went on started to get the upperhand. Beds were reduced to 14 men as Jersey looked to exert a catch and drive move. Jersey kept pressing but Bedford held firm and then against the run of play counter-attacked and scored their second try.
Bedford then lost another player to the bin, but held out to go in at HT leading 12-0.
Jersey used the men advantage and scored straight after the break through Tom Howe, having been put in by Sami Fisilau. 'Fish' then added another of his own later.
As the game went on the lead changed hands a few times and Bedford had to play the last 5 minutes or so with 14 players.
A last minute score by Richard Lane sealed it.
