A massive win for the Reds in front of the biggest crowd of the season.
It was always going to be a tough match for both sides, played in blustery conditions.
Level 8-8 at half time, the Irish retook the lead with a penalty, but then in the final two minutes following a break from deep, Jersey laid siege to the Irish try line, and it was Gary Graham who got the decisive score that was converted by Callum Sheedy.
There was still time for the Irish to mount another attack, and the Reds had to see out a hugely tense final few minutes to take the spoils.
