Jersey Reds are holding a grand raffle in which the 1st prize will be an Audi A1 Sport, plus cash prizes of £3,000, 2 x £1,000 and 2 x £500.
The fund-raising is in aid of funding for the new floodlights which were installed during summer 2016 to meet new minimum standards from the RFU.
Chairman Mark Morgan said: "We are looking at several ways covering this expense and raise funds for the club and holding a raffle is one of the ways we'll be doing this."
The date of the draw has been moved back to May 6th 2017, when it will take place as part of the Siam Cup match-day, and all club members and other Reds' associated are being encouraged to buy - and sell - as many tickets as possible.
Mark Morgan added: "We were originally planning to make the draw in January, however to allow time for all the tickets to be snapped up we will now be having an end-of-season draw, so the winner will have a new car ready to enjoy next summer."
Tickets, priced £20 each, are available to buy from the red tent opposite the club shop on home match days. And members are being asked to take a book of five tickets to sell. Tickets are also available to buy through the club office during normal opening times. Further sales opportunities are being organised in St Helier at selected times and locations.
