There'll be a great afternoon of rugby at St Peter this Saturday and we hope all supporters will come up and support the club.
Although Zoo Shield opponents Bury St Edmunds have pulled out of the scheduled fixture against Jersey Reds Athletic, there will be live rugby in the shape of an Athletic Select XV - featuring a mix of Vets, young talent and a few Athletic regulars - against local rivals Dominion Royals.
The live match will be followed by lunch and a feast of international rugby on the big screens.
If you'd like to book for lunch, please email Sean Dunne before 12noon on Thursday. Places are available at £15 per person while stocks last. Or if you don't want to sit down for lunch, come and watch the Athletic game and then stay for a few pints to watch the internationals.
The timetable for the event is:
12noon: Clubhouse and bar open
12.30pm: Athletic Select v Dominion Royals, on pitch 2 ("Stade Athletique")
2.15pm: lunch in the clubhouse
2.30pm: England v Fiji, from Twickenham, with the home team looking for their 12th win on the trot
5.30pm: Ireland v New Zealand, live from the Aviva Stadium, with the men-in-green looking to repeat their stunning success from Chicago
