A tough day at the office with no return for the Reds.
Having lead at 7-5 at half time, and then extended that to 10-5 early in the second period, the home faithful were hopeful for more.
Yorkshire upped their game and kicked well to put the ball into the right areas, and duly scored two tries to lead by 10-17 as we entered stoppage time.
A last play resulted in a penalty to the visitors that was duly converted, thus denying Jersey a losing bonus point.
