A hard and physical encounter against a well-drilled premiership outfit boasting numerous international caps was an excellent final pre-season test for the Reds.
Quins got off to the perfect start with a converted score inside the opening minute, added another midway through the half and a third score with the final play to go in at the break leading 21-0. In between though, Jersey showed promise and indeed held much of the territorial advantage.
The second half also saw the hosts score in the opening and closing exchanges, and in between the Reds worked hard and crossed the white wash on three occasions, having again shown discipline to control patches of play.
